We are surrounded by the beauty of the world from the day we are born. Some of us look upon the world with sheer amazement while others pick up brushes and paints that they may capture this beauty for others to enjoy. As an art collector, your collection should be a reflection of the things that you find most beautiful and inspiring in this world and here are some tips for finding the perfect pieces for your growing collection.
You should start any collection by visiting as many galleries as you can so that you can see which style/genre of paintings appeals to you. Naturally, if you know the genre you are looking for then you can of course limit your visits to galleries that specialize in your specific tastes and interests. However, it's still a good idea to explore a wide variety to gain more perspective and appreciation for various genres and styles.
